Compact hull protection for standard freeboard
The seaEQ Fender-Protection-Mat FPM provides targeted hull protection for boats with standard freeboard. It protects the boat hull from chafing and scratches caused by moving boat fenders during wind, waves or longer mooring periods.
Use between boat fender and hull
The FPM is positioned between a classic boat fender and the boat hull. It creates a defined protective layer that reduces friction and protects sensitive hull areas without changing the function of the boat fender.
Smooth outer surface and grip-safe hull side
The outer surface is made of a very smooth polyester fabric, allowing boat fenders to glide easily. The hull-facing side is polyurethane-coated and adheres to the hull under light pressure, keeping the protection mat reliably in place.
Protective function and product classification
A 4 mm cell rubber core provides light cushioning and protection. The FPM is not a boat fender replacement but a functional protective addition for boats moored alongside docks, pilings or in rafted configurations.
For long, continuous contact zones during side-to-side mooring, the Langfender Series (LF Series) offers an ideal complementary solution.
Handling and practical use
The Fender-Protection-Mat FPM can be easily rolled or folded and stored compactly. It can also be used temporarily as wind or contact protection.
