The seaEQ WALL-PERFORMER WP 60-50-30 is the more compact, walkable version of the WP series – a heavy-duty Boat Fender, Dock Fender and Pontoon Fender for heavily used berths with limited space. Despite its shorter length, it offers high load capacity and reliable protection when docking at a dock, pontoon or quay wall – ideal for working and walkways as well as regularly stressed contact zones.

Application

The Dock Fender / Pontoon Fender WALL-PERFORMER WP 60 is mounted directly to docks, pontoons, landing stages or quay walls.
Thanks to its compact length, it is particularly suitable for shorter berths, segmented protection areas or as an addition in heavily stressed zones.
The walkable design also allows use in working and walkways on the dock.

Protective function

As a Boat Fender, the WP fender effectively cushions contact between the boat and the wall surface.
The large contact area reduces point loads and reliably protects hull, gelcoat and superstructures – even under lateral pressure and repeated, forceful docking.

Internal structure & impact absorption

The damper of the WALL-PERFORMER WP 60-50-30 consists of a closed-cell polyethylene foam located directly behind the durable outer skin. This first cushioning layer reliably absorbs docking forces and reduces impact energy effectively.

Behind it is a 500 × 240 mm backing layer made of extruded polystyrene foam (XPS).
This high-compression core is designed for very high pressure loads and achieves a load capacity of up to 30 t/m².

Thanks to this two-stage internal structure, this Dock Fender is particularly suitable for high point loads, large-area pressure loads, and berths with regular, intensive contact – despite its compact dimensions.

Material & construction

The Dock Fender is made of a closed-cell polyethylene foam with a fibre-reinforced synthetic fibre jacket in heavy RIB quality. This material combination ensures high dimensional stability, extreme durability and a long service life.
The solid PE back distributes the resulting forces evenly across the substrate and forms the stable base for walkable use.

Fastening & installation

The WALL-PERFORMER WP is equipped at the upper flap with a pre-drilled mounting rail. This can be installed openly or screwed on concealed by folding down the flap.

For safe, walkable use, the back plate features four fold-out fastening tabs that are firmly screwed to the dock or quay wall. This permanently secures the fender and allows it to withstand high mechanical loads.

Installation recommendation for wood & concrete:

• Screws: 10 × 80 mm, stainless steel A4

• alternatively: 10 × 100 mm, stainless steel A4

• for concrete with suitable wall plugs

Steel installation:

• Machine screws M10, stainless steel A4

• Washers & self-locking locknut
