Bow fender with extended protection function

The seaEQ Dock Fender DF B 110/20 is the bow-shaped variant within the DF series. It is designed for areas where the bow or strongly curved hull sections contact the dock during berthing. The fender is suitable for concrete and wooden docks, piers and pontoons.

Due to its larger dimensions and reinforced construction, the DF B 110/20 is also widely used as a reinforced dock fender for highly stressed contact zones along the berth.

Controlled sliding contact for bow and side contact

Like all DF series dock fenders, the DF B 110/20 provides controlled sliding contact. The boat is not abruptly stopped, but guided smoothly along the fender surface, maintaining manoeuvrability and reducing peak loads on the hull.

Also suitable as a reinforced dock fender

The DF B 110/20 can be used instead of straight dock fenders where increased damping and protection are required. It is particularly suitable for larger boats, frequent berthing manoeuvres or berths exposed to higher contact forces.

Multi-layer construction for high load capacity

Like all DF dock fenders, the DF B 110/20 features a multi-layer construction. The damper consists of closed-cell polyethylene foam for effective impact absorption.

In addition, the DF B 110/20 is equipped with a 50 mm thick base layer made of extruded polystyrene (XPS). This layer is designed for high compressive loads and offers a load capacity of up to 30 t/m², making the fender suitable for highly stressed berthing areas.

Mounting by screw fixing

The DF B 110/20 is permanently screw-mounted to the dock. Surrounding webbing covers the fixing points and protects both the fender surface and the boat hull.
