When leaving the berth, the mooring line is placed in the hook. When returning, it can be picked up directly from the piling. This practical boat line holder makes handling mooring lines easier, especially when sailing single-handed or manoeuvring with a small crew.

Mooring line holder – Keep your lines ready at the berth

The seaEQ PHS 400 was developed for one simple purpose: to prevent the mooring line from falling into the water or hanging down from the dock or piling after departure. Instead, the line remains ready exactly where it is needed when returning to the berth.

The hook is positioned on the piling, and the mooring line is simply placed in it when leaving. On returning, the line can be picked up directly from the hook.

Unlike conventional rope storage solutions, this mooring line holder is designed specifically for convenient handling during docking and departure manoeuvres.

Boat line holder – Installation without drilling or screws

The PHS 400 is secured to the piling using a tensioning strap. No drilling, screws or permanent modifications to the piling are required.

This makes the dock line holder suitable for rented berths and marina facilities where permanent attachments to pilings are not permitted or desired.

The system can be removed when necessary and reused on another suitable piling.

Piling hook with a covered aluminium core

The piling hook features an aluminium core enclosed in a polypropylene (PP) sleeve. This prevents the mooring line from resting directly against a metal surface.

The hook can be positioned along the tensioning strap. Additional seaEQ PH hooks can be fitted to the system if required.

PHS 400 for round and square pilings

The seaEQ PHS 400 mooring line holder is designed for smaller round and square pilings.

Round pilings:
Diameter approx. 100–135 mm

Square pilings:
