The seaEQ Dock Corner Fender DF A 20/10 is a specially designed 90° corner fender for docks, pontoons and berths. It protects projecting dock corners where the boat hull may come into contact with the edge of the berth during docking, departure or manoeuvring.

With two fender arms measuring approximately 200 mm each, the DF A 20/10 extends the cushioned protective surface around a 90° corner. It complements the straight dock fenders in the seaEQ DF series and provides targeted protection for particularly exposed areas.

The corner fender is permanently mounted to the dock and remains in position. Its protective and cushioning contact surface is therefore already in place whenever a boat approaches the berth.

Protection for Exposed Dock and Pontoon Corners

Projecting dock corners are among the most critical contact areas at a berth. While straight dock fenders protect longer dock edges, the seaEQ DF A 20/10 extends the cushioned protective surface around the corner.

The corner fender is suitable for wooden and concrete docks, as well as pontoons with a corresponding 90° corner.

It can be used individually or combined with straight dock fenders. This allows individual corners and larger protective areas to be equipped according to the geometry of the berth.

During sideways contact, the boat hull can slide along the smooth fender surface and around the protected corner instead of coming into direct contact with a hard, projecting dock corner.

Robust Multi-Layer Construction with Closed-Cell PE Foam

The seaEQ DF A 20/10 features a multi-layer cushioning construction incorporating closed-cell polyethylene (PE) foam. The overall thickness of the cushioning element is approximately 40 mm.

Its robust textile outer construction is designed for use at permanent berths.

The backing is made from heavy-duty, fabric-reinforced PVC and provides a stable mounting base for installation on the dock corner.

Webbing straps running around the fender reinforce the construction and conceal the mounting points after installation.

The outer material has been tested for colour fastness to light in accordance with DIN EN ISO 105-B02, achieving Grade ≥ 5. This rating describes the material's resistance to colour changes caused by light exposure under defined test conditions.

Permanent Installation on a 90° Dock Corner

The seaEQ DF A 20/10 is securely mounted directly to a suitable 90° dock corner using screws.

The two arms of the corner fender extend along the adjoining dock edges, creating a cushioned protective surface around the corner.

After installation, the mounting points are concealed by the surrounding webbing straps.

Optional seaEQ mounting sets are available as accessories for different installation requirements. These mounting sets are not included with the corner fender.
