seaEQ PS Pile-Strap – The Modular Base for Mooring Pile Hooks

The seaEQ PS Pile-Strap is the base component of the modular seaEQ pile hook system. It is tensioned directly around a mooring pile and allows separately available seaEQ PH Pile Hooks to be attached and positioned individually.

With the pile hooks installed, mooring lines can be left within easy reach on the pile when leaving the berth and picked up again directly when returning.

The PS is suitable both for building an individual pile hook system and as a replacement strap for an existing seaEQ PHS system.

Important: The PS is supplied without a pile hook. Compatible seaEQ PH Pile Hooks are available separately.

The Base of the Modular seaEQ Pile Hook System

The seaEQ PS features several designated positions for attaching separately available seaEQ PH Pile Hooks. This allows the hooks to be positioned according to the individual requirements of the berth.

The modular system offers several options:

• Individual configuration: Combine the PS Pile-Strap with separately available seaEQ PH Pile Hooks.
• Replacement part: Use the PS as a replacement strap for an existing seaEQ PHS pile hook system.
• Extension: Add separately available PH Pile Hooks to the designated positions on an existing system.

Keep Mooring Lines Within Easy Reach

When leaving the berth, mooring lines can be placed on the pile using the installed PH Pile Hooks. When returning, the lines are ready to be picked up directly from the pile.

This is particularly useful at berths where mooring lines might otherwise fall into the water or be difficult to retrieve from the boat.

The mooring line holding function is provided by combining the PS Pile-Strap with separately available PH Pile Hooks.

Installation Without Drilling or Screws

The seaEQ PS is secured directly around the mooring pile using its tensioning system. No drilling, screws or permanent modifications to the pile are required.

This also makes the system suitable for rented berths and marina facilities where permanent installations on the piles are not permitted or desired.

The strap can be removed when required and reused on another suitable mooring pile.

Which seaEQ PS Pile-Strap Size Fits My Mooring Pile?

The seaEQ PS is available in four sizes: PS 400, PS 600, PS 800 and PS 1400.

The correct size depends on the shape and dimensions of the mooring pile. For round piles, measure the diameter. For square piles, measure the side length.
