Dock Fender & Mooring Fender MOORING-PERFORMER MP 90-20-16

The seaEQ MOORING-PERFORMER MP 90-20-16 is a compact, heavy-duty dock fender designed to reliably protect boats and yachts during mooring. Developed for highly stressed berths, it effectively absorbs impact forces and protects the hull from damage at docks, pontoons and quay walls.

Application
The MOORING-PERFORMER MP is mounted directly to docks, pontoons or quay walls. Its slim design makes it ideal for berths with limited space where high protection performance is still required. Suitable for motorboats, sailing yachts and frequently used moorings.

Protective Function
During berthing, the fender absorbs contact forces between the boat and the dock. Even strong impacts are reliably cushioned, protecting hull, gelcoat and superstructure from damage.

Internal Structure & Shock Absorption
The shock absorber consists of a closed-cell polyethylene foam layer located directly behind the robust outer skin. This layer absorbs impact energy efficiently.
Behind it, a 150 × 100 mm core made of extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) provides exceptional compressive strength, with a load capacity of up to 30 t/m².
This two-stage construction makes the fender ideal for heavily loaded berths and high point or surface loads.

Material & Construction
The dock fender is made of closed-cell polyethylene foam with a fibre-reinforced synthetic outer skin in heavy RIB quality. A solid PE back plate ensures even load distribution onto the mounting surface.

Mounting & Installation
The upper mounting flap features a pre-drilled mounting rail that can be installed visibly or concealed by folding the flap.
Two fold-out mounting lugs on the back plate ensure secure fixing to the dock or quay wall.

Recommended mounting (wood & concrete):

• Screws 8 × 60 mm or 8 × 80 mm, stainless steel A4

• alternatively 10 × 80 mm or 10 × 100 mm, stainless steel A4

• concrete installations require suitable wall plugs

Steel installation:

• Machine screws M8, stainless steel A4

• washers and self-locking nuts
