seaEQ Dock Fender DF M 110/50: Large-Scale Protection for Your Berth
The seaEQ Dock Fender (DF M 110/50) is the mat version of the proven DF series. With a coverage height of 50 cm and a length of 1.10 meters, this fender offers a huge protection zone. It was specially developed for docks and sheet piling where the contact point is not always at the same height.
The Problem: Changing water levels (tides), waves, or boats of different sizes often mean narrow fenders are missed.
The Solution: The DF M 110/50 covers a large area of the freeboard. Whether the boat sits lower or dances in the waves – the protection is always there.
Your Advantages: Maximum Impact Area
- Seamless Protection: Secures a large area (over 0.5 m²) at once. Ideal for long dock sections.
- Gliding instead of Stopping: Like all seaEQ dock fenders, it does not abruptly brake the boat ("sticking"), but allows the hull to glide deliberately. This maintains maneuverability.
- High Load Capacity: The multi-layer construction with XPS core reinforcement distributes pressure evenly across the entire mat.
- Robust & Durable: Closed-cell foam (no water absorption) and UV-stable materials for continuous use.
- Made in Germany: Quality you can rely on in the harbor.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about the Surface Fender DF M 110/50
Who is this fender particularly suitable for?
It is ideal for areas with water level fluctuations (tides) or for berths used by different types of boats (e.g., guest berths), as it covers a large vertical range.
How is the mat mounted?
The fender has a solid backplate that extends beyond the damper on all sides. It is simply screwed to the dock there. The screw heads are covered by flaps.
Can I mount multiple mats next to each other?
Yes, that is easily possible. This allows you to transform an entire dock side into a soft, continuous docking zone.
