Quick and Flexible Fender Attachment to Boat Guardrails
The seaEQ Fender Railing Clip FRC 4 allows boat fenders to be attached and positioned quickly and flexibly on guardrail wires. The clip makes it easy to adjust the fender line to the desired height and reposition the fender whenever necessary.
The system is particularly useful when fenders need to be repositioned quickly during docking and departure manoeuvres or when mooring conditions change.
The FRC 4 is supplied without a fender line and is designed for suitable existing round fender lines with a diameter of up to 8 mm.
Adjust Fender Height Quickly and Easily
When approaching a berth, the position of a boat fender often needs to be adapted to the height of the pontoon, the hull of a neighbouring boat or the specific mooring conditions.
With the seaEQ FRC 4, the fender line can be positioned on the guardrail wire and the fender height adjusted quickly, without having to retie the line to the guardrail for every adjustment.
This makes it easier to reposition and adjust fenders during docking and departure manoeuvres.
For Guardrail Wires up to 8 mm in Diameter
The seaEQ Fender Railing Clip FRC 4 attaches directly to the boat's guardrail wire.
It is suitable for guardrail wires with a maximum diameter of 8 mm. The clear internal diameter of the clip's guardrail wire opening is approximately 9 mm.
- Suitable guardrail wire diameter: up to 8 mm
- Clear internal diameter of the clip opening: approx. 9 mm
For Your Own Round Fender Lines
The seaEQ FRC 4 is supplied without a fender line.
It can be used with suitable existing round fender lines with a diameter of up to 8 mm.
This makes the FRC 4 particularly suitable for boat owners who want to continue using their existing fender lines.
For a complete attachment solution including a matching fender line, seaEQ offers the FRC-FR. This set combines the Fender Railing Clip FRC with a pre-made seaEQ Fender Line FR.
Robust, Completely Metal-Free Construction
The seaEQ Fender Railing Clip FRC 4 is manufactured from heavy-duty, fibre-reinforced flexible PVC.
The clip contains no metal components. This means there are no metal parts on the clip that could cause scratches when coming into contact with the boat or guardrail.
- Material: heavy-duty, fibre-reinforced flexible PVC
- Colour: Black
- Metal components: none
Important: Secure the Fender Line During Extended Mooring
The seaEQ FRC 4 is designed for quick fender positioning and height adjustment.
During extended mooring periods, the fender line must additionally be secured with two half hitches.
This additional securing step prevents the adjusted fender position from changing unintentionally under prolonged or increased loads.
The Fender Railing Clip does not replace this additional securing requirement.
